This was our last district (Lake Shore 2 District) before transfers. This was a beloved group of dedicated missionaries rich in humor, friendship, and desire to serve the Lord. We had a final lunch with this group and also took this picture. Shortly after transfers the mission president asked that Cathi and I attend all the districts in our two zones. We were not sure if wanted to dilute our impact on this particular district or grow to love and serve all the missionaries in our two zones. We oversee the Wilmette English and Wilmette Spanish Zones. As there are 5 districts (3 English and 2 Spanish) we can only visit the individual District Councils once per transfer and invite only one district per transfer to our apartment for lunch. I have included some picture of our last district lunch with this district which we were assigned to for the last 9 months.
Elders Bingham, Lions, Rowly, Mason, Smith and Swensen! You will be greatly missed. We look forward to randomly meeting you through the remainder of our and your missions!
