Out And About Chicago

Just a few pictures Cathi and I thought you might enjoy. The top is the beautiful Chicago skyline from Lake Shore. It you think this is neat, you should see what it looks like at night when it is all lit up!  I will try to get one of those!

The next two are architectural again. Eric is obsessed with the elaborate brick structures. This is a music hall we passed by that was selling tickets for a live performance of Quinn XCII, whoever that is. Just look at the embellishments. There were light bulbs all over and I expect that on a show night the scene is spectacular!

The next picture is of our zone moving some sisters to a better apartment. This was the extent of service projects for our zone. Cathi and I decided our zone’s service should be more broad and more community service orientated. The fruition of that decision led to some really great experiences. (See other posts)

This last picture was a little unnerving for Eric. We had to drive under a train trestle for quite a distance. This structure is old, with some rust and it just went on and on and on! When a train passes by-the noise!!!  While driving I had to get Cathi to take a picture, as in my small world, no one would believe this!  Talk about a view to eternity.
