Our Chistmas Party!

 The Gang!

We decided to have a gathering of our friends and the Elder and Sisters who did not receive invitations for Christmas Day.  Attendance was small (as expected) but it went well and we had a blast.  Especially the Elders and Sisters as they played a game called Secret Hitler.  It is a game where you are either a fascist or a nazi and you try to take control through strategy.  Sister Niven and I played it a couple of times with the Elders but I can't get over the names used.  The makers could have easily used other names that don't carry the baggage associated with the names.  Even though in fun, I will not be associated with belonging to either philosophy.  I guess WWII and the horrors associated with it is slowly disappearing.  Anyway, the party was a success!  The associated photos tell the story!

The Taboo Table!

Those who chose to play Taboo!  We are teaching Peggy Carter (blue shirt front right) and Dalina (plaid overalls with head scarf).

The Refreshment Table

This was a bunch of snack foods we received over time which we could not eat.  So we saved them and offered them at the party.  We did buy the hot chocolate and Styrofoam cups.  One of the Sister's Friends arrange the display!
